In all your years of loyalty to your preferred athlete, did you ever wonder whether their kids had inherited their talent? In some cases, you won’t believe how stunning and talented they have become as the years passed by. From being carried by their parents on the court and in front of the cameras, these cute babies are now lovely and talented grown-ups who either followed their superstar parents’ legacy or took a different, yet equally impressive path in their chosen career.

John Edward Thomas Moynahan

John Edward Thomas Moynahan is the son of football quarterback, Tom Brady, and actress, Bridget Moynahan. Brady has won six Super Bowls and four Super Bowl MVP awards. Due to his various accomplishments, he is viewed as the greatest quarterback in the history of NFL. His active career with the New England Patriots spans for 19 years and counting.

If John pursues his father’s legacy in the future, we have no doubt that he will be the next football superstar. John has younger half-siblings (Benjamin and Vivian) as his father went on to marry famous supermodel, Gisele Bundchen. “I love him [John] the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day,” Gisele said of John.

Sam Alexis Woods

Sam Alexis Woods is the sibling of Charlie and daughter to world-famous golfer, Tiger Woods, and Swedish model, Elin Nordegren. She was named “Sam” because Tiger’s father often called him Sam when he was young. Unlike her brother, who displays golf skills like a pro, Sam enjoys playing soccer more.

 

Although their parents divorced after a big scandal due to Tiger’s publicized infidelity, Sam and Charlie spend quality time with their father and mother as much as possible. What can we say, these kids are born to love sports just like their famous father, who surpassed various challenges to excel in his chosen career.

Simone Alexandra Johnson

Simone Alexandra Johnson is the 15-year-old daughter of actor and retired professional wrestler, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The young woman turned heads after accompanying her celebrity daddy on the red carpet for the People’s Choice Awards. Just one look at the photo and truly, anyone will be stunned with her beauty and charming presence.

 

Dwyane revealed that Simone is fond of imitating his wrestling catchphrases, taking loving digs at him by saying things like “do you smell what The Rock is cooking?” Are we seeing a future actress in Simone? Let’s wait for her shining glory as The Rock’s lovely daughter is bound to unleash more of her talent in no time.

Earvin III Johnson

Son to the legendary basketball player, Magic Johnson, Earvin Johnson III, better known as EJ, rose to fame after his notable appearance on E’s reality television series, Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills. Despite the brief run of the show, his popularity earned him his own spin-off, titled EJNYC.

Jasmine Jordan

Who doesn’t know the greatest basketball player of all time? Of course, we all do! Michael Jordan played for 15 seasons in NBA and was one of the instrumental players who popularized the NBA across the world during the 1980s and the 1990s. Although he retired from playing, he is still active in the popular sport as he currently serves as the chairman and owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

 

Michael Jordan has three children with former wife, Juanita Vanoy; and his daughter, Jasmine, has an eye for sports, just like her father. Jasmine earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management from Syracuse University and currently works as Nike’s field marketing representative.

Tanita Strahan

Michael Strahan is a former NFL player who spent 15 years with the New York Giants as defensive end. Following his retirement from football, Michael became a media personality. He currently serves as a football analyst on NFL Sunday, and he also co-hosts ABC’s Strahan and Sara.

 

Strahan also used to work with Kelly Ripa (from 2012 to 2016) on the daytime talk show, Live! with Kelly and Michael, which earned him two daytime Emmy awards. The popular athlete and host is also a proud family man who fathered four children: Tanita, Isabella, Sophia, and Michael Jr. His eldest child, Tanita, attended high school and college in Texas, the hometown of her father.

Sydney Simpson

Sydney Brooke is the daughter of O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown. She and her brother, Justin, have been trying their best to live a private life following the controversial case of his parents that brought emotional, physical and financial strain to their family.

Orenthal James (O.J.) is a former NFL running back and actor who gained worldwide fame due to his arrest for the murder of his wife and her friend, Ron Goldman. His case was considered as the “trial of the century.” Simpson’s celebrity status and the fact that the trial was televised contributed to the media circus that surrounded the proceedings. He was released from prison on October 1, 2017.

Christiana Barkley

Charles Barkley is a retired NBA player whose decorated career was prominent in the 1990s. His appearance earned him an appearance in the movie, Space Jam, along with the legendary Michael Jordan. Charles currently serves as an analyst on the postgame show, Inside the NBA.

 

Barkley’s daughter, Christiana, is viewed as an online sensation. By way of proof, simply take a look at her Instagram account and her huge fan-base that constantly checks her feed for their daily fix of photos and videos about her lifestyle, family and other personal-related activities. Myla Rose & Charlene Riva Federer

Roger Federer is currently ranked no. 7 worldwide in men’s singles tennis. His versatility in playing tennis and amazing footwork earned him 20 Grand Slam singles titles. He married former professional tennis player, Miroslava Federer, and had their identical twin girls, Myla Rose and Charlene Rivka, in 2009.

 

The couple’s second set of twins, this time boys, were born in May 2014. Federer said in an interview that he will not push any of his children into playing tennis, and instead he will let them choose and play any sport they truly like. These adorable kids are so lucky for having a superstar and kind dad. And we kinda think it’s an achievement in and of itself to have not one but two sets of identical twins!

Jerry Rice Jr.

Apparently, Jerry Rice Jr. is the son of Jerry Rice, a former NFL wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers. Jerry Rice played for 20 seasons and holds accolades like being ranked 2nd in “Football’s 100 Greatest Players” and the “Greatest Player in NFL History.”

 

Jerry Rice senior’s 25-year-old son with former wife, Jacqueline Mitchell, Jerry Rice Jr., is a graduate of UCLA and was eligible to play immediately after transferring to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also played as a wide receiver for the Rebels and was signed by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2014.

Shareef O’Neal

History is set to repeat itself as Shareef O’Neal is gearing towards becoming his father, Shaquille O’Neal’s modern version. Shareef plays as a power forward on his high school basketball team. His amazing playing skills have earned him numerous scholarship offers from various universities with the best basketball programs like UCLA, Georgetown, Baylor and UCLA.

 

Shaquille is a retired NBA player with a stunning portfolio that includes three Finals MVP Awards and three NBA All-Defensive Team selections. With his son’s current performance in basketball, we have no doubt that Shareef will steal the spotlight in no time. Did we mention that he also got his towering height from his father? It definitely runs in the genes.

Brooke Hogan

Brooke Ellen Bollea, better known by her stage name Brooke Hogan, is a television star and singer. She starred in the reality series, Brooke Knows Best, that followed the ups and downs of her life. Her single, “About Us,” has reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Hogan is the daughter of retired professional wrestler, Hulk Hogan. He was dubbed as “the most recognized wrestling star worldwide and the most popular wrestler of the 1980s.” Hogan is also a famous TV personality and musician. He has starred in various films and television shows such as No Holds Barred, Mr. Nanny, and Hogan Knows Best, among others.

Kiyan Anthony

Kiyan Anthony is the only child of NBA player, Carmelo Anthony, and actress, La La Anthony. Carmelo, a small forward for the Houston Rockets is a famed athlete with an impressive recognition as a 9-time NBA All-Star. 12-year-old Kiyan seems set to follow his father’s legacy in basketball as he is actively engaged in the New York Gauchos basketball program in New York City.

 

Kiyan also appeared in a Jordan-brand sneaker commercial alongside his famous father. Now, we have a mini-version of Carmelo and we’re holding out hope for him to become a brand new basketball superstar in no time. Indeed, these skills run in the blood. There’s no denying that.

Brooklyn Beckham

Son to super couple, David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn exudes style and fame just like his famous parents. He pursues his passion in photography and is often spotted hanging out with celebrity kids, Jack Scott Ramsay and Rocco Ritchie.

Brooklyn’s father, David Beckham is a retired pro-footballer and became the first English player to have won league titles in four countries: England, France, Spain and the United States. Victoria Beckham, famously known as Posh Spice of the pop group, “The Spice Girls,” is now recognized as a style icon and fashion designer. That said, it’s no wonder Brooklyn always looks dashing. We hope he’ll consider carrying on his dad’s legacy and playing football soon (fingers crossed).

Matthew Kerrigan

Matthew Kerrigan is the eldest child of former figure skater, Nancy Kerrigan. Matthew and his two other siblings know how to skate and are also engaged with other activities. Their mother was elected into the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame but perhaps more memorable than her international recognition and numerous titles and awards was the attack that she suffered in 1994.

Nancy was walking through a corridor after her practice when Shane Stant, friend of fellow competitor Tonya Harding’s ex-husband, hit her right leg with a police baton. Tonya pleaded guilty of the attack and Nancy has since moved on. In fact, she resumed with her intensive training after recovering from the traumatic incident.

Alexandra Stevenson

Another NBA superstar player who has an incredibly entertaining child is Julius Erving. His daughter with sportswriter, Samantha Stevenson, has made a name for herself in the world of sports. Young Alexandra Stevenson made her tennis debut back in 1999 at Wimbledon.

Alexandra was previously named in the top 20 best singles players and was often pitted against the greatestest tennis players, like Serena Williams, Mary Pierce, and Monica Seles, among others. Stevenson graduated with a degree in sociology from the University of Colorado. Isn’t it amazing that she graduated with honors while playing professional tennis at the same time. Such a pro, isn’t she?

Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade

The Miami Heat’s all-time leader in points, shots, and steals, Dwyane Wade, has three sons: Zion Malachi Airamis Wade, Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade, and Xavier Zechariah Wade. The 14-year-old Zaire is obviously living his dream and his father’s to be a basketball star, too.

The six foot tall youngster made his famous father proud when he pulled off a great move against Tim Hardaway Jr. in a Miami Pro League game in July 2018. Recognized as a three-time NBA champion and Most Valuable Player in 2006, it’s obvious that Dwyane passed his playing skills to Zaire which are impressively delivered by his son.

Zeke Thomas

Another kid of an ultra famous athlete is Zeke Thomas. His father is Isiah Thomas III, a retired basketball player who was named as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History and a 12-time NBA All-Star. Any son with a father like Isiah would be expected to pursue the same passion in the field of basketball, but Zeke chose a different path.

Zeke is, in fact, a successful DJ with regular gigs in New York, Miami and Las Vegas. His expertise in DJing, and of course, his father’s connection with basketball earned him a spot as the official DJ of an NBA All-Star game. We appreciate Zeke’s pursuit of happiness in a world where he truly belongs.

Amir Tyson

Amir Tyson is the son of world-famous boxer, Mike Tyson from his second marriage. After graduating from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, Amir pursues his college education at the American University in Washington, D.C. where he plays baseball.

In 2016, Amir appeared in a Super Bowl commercial featuring him as a boxer and his father, Mike as his trainer. This ad may well be turned into a reality. Pro-boxer that he is, with various accolades under his belt, Mike can greatly help Amir in becoming one if he so chooses. Mike Tyson was nicknamed “Kid Dynamite” and “Iron” due to his ferocious style in boxing and his intimidating behaviour both in and out of the ring.

Jeremy White

Reginald Howard White, better known as Reggie White, played as a defensive end in the NFL for 15 seasons. The two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and 13-time Pro Bowl played for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Green Bay Packers, and the Carolina Panthers.

 

Reggie was viewed by many as the best defensive player in NFL history. Reggie has two children: Jeremy and Jecolia. Jeremy is a writer and has published a book, In His Shadow: Growing Up with Reggie White, which came out in 2006. Unfortunately, his father wasn’t able to enjoy it as he passed away in 2004 due to a cardiac arrhythmia.

Jarret Payton

Jarrett Walter Payton is a former football running back for the Toronto Argonauts (2009) and Chicago Slaughter (2010-2012). Jarrett is the son of Walter Payton, a former NFL running back for the Chicago Bears for 13 seasons. His skillfulness with touchdowns, carries, and many other categories earned him enviable success in his football career.

Although Jarrett hasn’t had quite the colorful portfolio his father enjoyed, he has proficiency in many more fields than football, like recording music and managing his foundation that promotes anti-bullying through football. In 2015, he also served as a sports reporter for WGN-TV. He got it from his daddy—versatility at its finest!

Antron Pippen

Aside from Sophia Pippen, Scottie Pippen’s son from his previous marriage is also making a name for himself. Antron Pippen plays basketball too but not in the NBA. However, we’re sure he and his father are dreaming of a slot for him in the world-famous basketball association anytime soon.

 

Scottie is one of the legendary basketball players of the NBA during the ‘90s and his performances with the Chicago Bulls was nothing short of stunning. He was named eight consecutive times to the NBA-All Defensive First Team and as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. That said, we hope Anton will make it big too. What are we saying, of course he will!

Robin Borg

Björn Rune Borg is a celebrated world champion tennis player. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of tennis. With 11 Grand Slam and 15 Grand Prix Super Series titles, he truly deserves his international recognition and huge fan base. Perhaps the best thing about his achievements is that his son, Robin, also inherited his passion and talent for tennis.

 

The young Borg plays at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater while pursuing his advertising degree. Bjorn must be thrilled and proud that his son is fueled with determination to be the next tennis superstar. Way to go, Robin!

Trevor Gretzky

Wayne Douglas Gretzky is a retired professional hockey player and head coach. Nicknamed “The Great One,” he played for 20 seasons in the NHL and was considered as “the greatest hockey player ever.” Wayne has five children with actress, Janet Jones, namely Paulina, Ty, Trevor, Tristan, and Emma.

Ty played hockey but eventually quit the sport while Trevor is a former minor league baseball player. He hasn’t made it yet to the pros but we have faith that he’ll get there eventually. With his legendary father as his coach, we’re confident that Trevor will get to his dream field and start taking out his dream awards.

Charlie Woods

When you’re a child to one of the world’s most popular athletes, expect to be a favorite subject among the media, fans and sports analysts. In the case of Charlie Woods, his parents, golfer Tiger Woods, and former model, Elin Nordegren, have nothing to worry about. Charlie, who is now 10-years-old, seems to already be a pro in playing golf.

 

In 2016, when he was just seven years old, Charlie bagged 2nd place in the U.S. Kids Golf Boys 7 event, held in Palm Beach, Florida. What else can we expect with this talented kid? The younger Woods seems set to create a successful career of his own in the near future.

Kelly Christina Nascimento

Daughter to legendary soccer player, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé, Kelly Cristina Nascimento found success, not on the football field, but in the entertainment industry. The 50-year-old actress is also a talented singer and founded the former Walkabout Theater Company in Manhattan.

Kelly’s father is considered as one of the greatest soccer players of all time. He was voted World Player of the Century in 1999 and stunned a lot of famous figures. “My name is Ronald Reagan, I’m the President of the United States of America. But you don’t need to introduce yourself, because everyone knows who Pelé is,” former president Ronald Reagan greeted Pelé when he arrived at the White House.

Maximilian Ibrahimovic

When you are the son of the “third best football player in the world,” the pressure must be crazy high to excel in the same sport. Thankfully, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ son, Maximilian Ibrahimovic, is a natural in showcasing his football skills as he currently plays for the PSG youth academy.

 

Zlatan is a Swedish football player who has a decorated career with 31 trophies thanks to his versatility and powerful striking ability. He currently plays as a forward for the LA Galaxy and is considered as “one of the best strikers in the game.” That said, we can’t wait for Maximilian to have his turn and shine bright on the field when the new generation of players takes over.

Ryan Ripken

Cal Ripken Jr., nicknamed “The Iron Man,” is considered as one of the best baseball players of all time. He played 21 seasons for the Baltimore Orioles, was a recipient of MVP awards, and was a 19-time All Star. That said, his son Ryan Ripken is catching up to match or exceed his father’s decorated career.

 

Ryan is also a baseball player and was drafted by the Orioles in the Major League Baseball amateur draft in 2012. However, at this time he made the decision to pursue his education instead, at the University of South Carolina. In 2017, he inked a deal with the Orioles and played for the Aberdeen Ironbirds.

Laila Ali

Laila Ali is a former professional boxer who held multiple titles from the WBC, WIBA and IBF. Such accomplishments of Laila are no surprise as she is the daughter of Muhammad Ali, considered to be one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Laila started boxing when she was 18 years old after watching a Christy Martin fight. When she told her father about her plans of boxing professionally, Muhammad was not happy due to the dangers of the combat sport. Any father would do his best to protect his daughter, but then Laila fought for her dreams and triumphed in the end. Of course, her father must have been proud of her.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.

Team captain of the Portugal national team, Cristiano Ronaldo is considered by many to be the best player in the world. The famed professional football player became a father at the age of 25 and his firstborn was named after him: Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. It is not clear whether he was born via surrogacy as his father revealed full custody of him and refused to disclose any details about the mother per their agreement.

 

There were rumors that the mother was given a massive amount of money in exchange for full custody to Cristiano Jr. In an interview, Ronaldo mentioned that in the right time, he will explain to his eldest child the situation with regards to his mother.

Kai Wayne Rooney

Kai Wayne is the eldest child of soccer player, Wayne Rooney, and his wife, Coleen Rooney. Wayne is an English footballer who serves as the captain for Manchester United and the England national team. He was named as England’s Player of the Year four times due to his incredible football skills.

Wayne’s son Kai seems to follow his father’s passion in football as the young Rooney has been training with Manchester United’s development team since late 2016. Interestingly, Kai is often spotted practicing and doing drills with his famous father. That said, we can’t help but foresee him as a future football superstar. We’re sure even Wayne is dreaming and hoping for this to happen.

Peyton & Eli Manning

It’s safe to say that the Manning family was predestined to NFL royalty. Cooper, Peyton and Eli played as NFL quarterbacks. While Elli is still active as a quarterback for the New York Giants, Peyton retired in 2016 after playing for 18 seasons and leaving an impressive portfolio in NFL. Hailed as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Peyton’s list of recognitions are truly amazing and include winning two Super Bowls.

 

Cooper, the oldest of the siblings, is currently hosting Fox Sports program, The Manning Hour. Apparently, the talented siblings inherited their looks and football skills from their father, Archie Manning, a former NFL quarterback for 13 seasons.

Jasmyn Wilkins

Gerald Wilkins is a retired NBA player. In his 14 years (1985-1999) as a basketball player, he served as a shooting guard to various teams such as the New York Knicks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Vancouver Grizzlies, and the Orlando Magic. Gerald is the younger brother of Atlanta Hawks player, Dominique Wilkins, dubbed as one of the best dunkers in NBA history.

 

Gerald has a beauty queen daughter in Jasmyn Wilkins who was crowned as Miss Georgia USA 2012 and as fourth runner up in Miss USA 2012. She has a brother, Damien Wilkins, who currently plays for the NBA development league as a guard and a forward.

Bronny James

Often considered as the best basketball player in the world, LeBron James continues to deliver with excellence in NBA. The icon of modern basketball is a recipient of four MVP awards, two Olympic Gold medals and the list goes on.

 

Lebron’s 12-year old son, Bronny, seems to be predestined for the basketball court as he is already showing amazing talent in the sport. Although LeBron is happy that he has naturally passed his playing skills to his son, he is not in a hurry to pass on his fame due to fear of the effects of public scrutiny. “My son is going to be a kid as long as he can be. That’s all he needs to worry about,” he said.

Rachel Bradshaw

Rachel Bradshaw is the daughter of former Hall of Fame and NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw and family attorney Charla Hopkins. Terry’s 13-year long career with the Pittsburgh Steelers showcased his strong performance as a supremely valuable player. A four-time Super Bowl champ, Terry is also an actor with notable appearances in television shows, commercials and films, including Hooper, and The Cannonball Run among others.

 

Although his daughter Rachel’s chosen career is not sports-related, the lovely country singer was married to NFL placekicker, Rob Bironas, who played for the New York Dragons and the Tennessee Titans. At least she’s still connected to the sport. Unfortunately, her husband died in a tragic car accident.

Joseph Baena

Did you know that actor and former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, has a secret love child? In fact, his controversial child with their family’s housekeeper caused the end of his 25 years of marriage with then wife, Maria Shriver, niece of former president John F. Kennedy.

 

Born in 1997, Joseph Baena was hidden until 2011, when the press discovered his real identity. It took seven years for Arnold to discover that he was Joseph’s father when he “started looking like him.” Indeed, Arnold’s genes were so strong that it cannot be denied that John is his son. Baena was born just a few days after Shriver gave birth to her youngest child with Arnold. Awkward!

Dalma Maradona

Diego Maradona is a retired Argentine football player and coach. Many writers, players and fans of the sport view him as one of the greatest football players of all time. Diego has fathered five children and he maintains a close relationship with them, especially his eldest daughter, Dalma, who spent her childhood with him.

The 29-year-old daughter of the legendary football player earned a name for herself as an actress and singer and has appeared in various television shows and movies. We’re sure Diego must be very proud of his lovely daughter, especially with all her hard-earned achievements.

Sophia Pippen

Scottie Pippen was a key figure in the NBA during the 1990s. As one of the star players of the Chicago Bulls, along with Michael Jordan, he helped their team achieved championship and popularity. Pippen is still considered as one of the greatest defenders to ever play the game.

 

Now that he’s retired, his children are taking their turns in the spotlight. His daughter with wife Larsa Younan, Sophia Pippen, is now becoming a social media star. Although young, Sophia’s pretty looks and towering height will land her a brighter future, and with a dad like Scottie, we’re sure brighter things are in store for her future.

Allen Iverson II

Allen Iverson II is the son of former NBA star, Allen Iverson. Iverson senior retired in 2013 but left an impressive legacy in the basketball world. In his 14 seasons in the NBA, he played both shooting guard and point guard positions. He was an 11-time NBA All-Star and a recipient of an MVP award in 2001.

 

Despite talks of his financial struggles, Iverson denied experiencing any money issues in an interview. “That’s a myth. That’s a rumor… The fact that I’m struggling in any part of my life,” he said. Iverson has nothing to worry as his lifetime deal with Reebok pays him $800,000 every year.

Nate Montana

Another kid of a famous athlete who’s following in his parent’s footsteps is Nate Montana. Nate is the son of “The Comeback Kid,” aka Joe Montana, and is a professional football quarterback just like his father. Currently a free agent in the NFL, we hope Nate will score big in his career in no time.
